Mark Pack received his BFA in Painting form Northern Illinois University in 2001 and his MFA in Painting from Rhode School of Design in 2004, graduating with honors. Since then Mark has been in numerous juried exhibitions, including a group show at the University of Mary Washington juried by Dr. Jonathon Binstock, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.

I asked myself "Why don't I attempt to create a dialog with all of the other people who have "art" as one of their tags?" Though not knowing where the move might take me, I felt that the tag alone was reason enough to become a fan of yours. Welcome to Indy.com.

Welcome! I hope some dialog among artists on Indy.com will cause some good things to happen. But what those good things are or how they will come about... who knows?

Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
I can't make First Friday this month (week), but I was thinking that a FF would be a great time for a bunch of us to get together. Perhaps via indy.com, a group of us could could plan ahead and make a evening of it.
