Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!

Only for the gov't. I work for the state doing print and web design and photography. It pays the bills and keeps me and Beta-kitty fed. I do freelance here and there (mostly for people who can't afford to pay for it). I'm trying to get back into doing more fun art, though. I have ideas floating in my head that I need to do something with. We'll see.

About studio space … I think there's space available at The Irving (on Washington St. in Irvington). I have no clue about The Murphy in Fountain Square but you might want to check with Phil Campbell, he runs the place.

I am amazingly not tuned in. I have an office. A government office and a 401(k)! (I say that with shock and dismay, not pleasure.)

But if you want a show at Big Car, you can email Audrey Barcio or Scott Grow. I think their email addys are on the interweb (bigcar.org). We might be booked for this year but next year is wide open. Or I can mention you at our next meeting, which is Wednesday, if you have an idea for a show.

I like your show idea. I can bring it up tomorrow night at BC and see what people think. If anyone would be game to possibly having a show shutdown due to controversy/copyright infringement it's Big Car!

Nah, I haven't read much sci-fi in years. Mostly just watch the movies these days. Some day, I'm going to make time to start reading a few novels a week like I did when I was younger.
