Born and bred Hoosier with a stint in England when I was 3yrs to 5yrs of age. Awarded Phi Betta Kappa at IU Bloomington to study art
Was in grad school at Yale with John Currin, Lisa Yuskavage, Jessica Stockholder,Ann Hamilton
Moved to New York after grad school. Worked at Parsons in the Admissions Office Tim Gunn was my boss...it was a fun time. Got married and moved back to Hoosier state...husband artist too.
Taught part-time at Franklin College, Marian College, and Anderson Univesity
Teach art full time at Anderson University since 97
Member of ARC Gallery in Chicago
Have a set of twins( boy and girl) diagnosed with autism. Autism has profoundly impacted my world.It has been a difficult and often frustrating journey for me AND my kids because many do not understand what autism is or means.

Beyond autism when I have a few moments I make paintings and drawings, enjoy seeing art exhibits, meeting artists. Try to read good books and see good films. I am working on an exhibit at Indianapolis Art Center at the end of April. opening is May 9 2008. Work features portraits of children diagnosed with autism.
