Today:
Little Lois Lane grew up in The OC, but made the trek to beautiful, Downtown Indy in 2004 so she could work at INtake (now indy.com magazine), trading those balmy beach days for humidity hell and thunderstorms galore. The weather sucks, but the people are nice. In SoCal, it's usually the opposite. Unless you get lucky.
These days she's living in the heart of Broad Ripple, indulging her inner-hippie and progressive/granola girl nature on the weekends and donning some snazzy heels and white collar clothes during the week at her gig as the Communications Manager at the Indiana Historical Society (www.indianahistory.org).

I've actually never seen the show. I just know how much it sucked that people started calling it THE OC. When I was growing up (and I know I sound like my dad saying that -- "back in my day . . .") it was just OC. I grew up in OC. Not THE OC. Lame. And don't even get me started on the throngs that have invaded the once-pristine, calm oasis that was Laguna Beach. Thanks, MTV.
Nice to meet you. :)
Happy Birthday!
Hey, I've missed seeing you around here. And how's Ricky?
It's been waaaay too long. When are we going ice fishing?
Thanks for your comment 'Miss Lane'. I see you know what I was talking about.
I asked myself "Why don't I attempt to create a dialog with all of the other people who have "art" as one of their tags?" Though not knowing where the move might take me, I felt that the tag alone was reason enough to become a fan of yours. Essex
If real is what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain

I see in your profile that you have writing listed among your interests. Do you do a lot of writing? If so, what sort of writing? Just curious.
"Art is PLENTY to have in common!" Too true!
Hey thanks for supporting smoke free air. We need smart people who support smoke free venues in order to strengthen our current law. If you would not mind filling out your info in the attached link as a supporter that would be great: (http://www.smokefreeindy.com/contact/) all that it would mean is that you support the cause, and once we go back to strengthen our current law we will be calling on you to send an email, call, write a letter or something else easy. Oh, and we do not share our list. Thanks.
hi
wow cant believe i just now added u as a friend. ur son will one day be very proud of that school pic!
Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
hi sweet thing....how is life??? tell ricky hello. hope you are fabulous!!!
You Puffs! I find it all too appropriate that your comment on the Bob Sanders post was actually the 69th comment.
VERY well played! :)
Wah Hoo! Thanks for the add!
Come for lunch and try the skirt steak sandwich too, it's pretty killer too.
SoCal surf rat thru and thru! So nice to know there's others! Surprised we never met. I've been at the Star for 2 years-ish...
