Today:
Yes, "Gregor is a weird name" [1] and I know gRegor is a weird capitalization. You can pronounce it "Greg-Or", "Greg-er", "Gee-Regor", or "Floyd". I am not too picky about it.
Most would consider me a weird person, which I think beats being "normal." I am a people person, I enjoy spending time with friends, meeting new people, laughing, and making other people laugh.
I am also a computer geek. I particularly enjoy making web sites and web applications that look nice and work well (basically, the opposite of myspace). I also really enjoy music and going to see bands play live. I book concerts when I can because I like to promote quality music.
My faith in Jesus as Saviour is central to my life and I strive to follow Christ in all I do. I do not believe that entails me beating people over the head with the Bible or condemning them to hell, so I avoid those things.
My political philosophy of libertarianism stems from this faith. I believe people should be free to live their lives as they see fit, as long as they do not impose on the rights of others. The role of government should only be to protect these rights, not to "educate", legislate "morality", or redistribute wealth as "charity." The Libertarian Party (not surprisingly) tends to run candidates that support this philosophy. I recommend checking them out. I think life and politics are more fun when you stop blindly supporting candidates based on their party affiliation. I really don't care the letter next to your name, as long as your record is congruent with liberty.
