    Is it a sunrise or a sunset, you decide. I recently discovered a love for watercolor pencils, which is what makes up this drawing (or is it called painting when you use watercolors?) Original art, mixed media. Pen & ink with watercolor. The inspiration? My cat and listening to heavy metal and rock music. Original art in india ink/pointillism. I drew this many years ago in high school art class when I was a student of Mrs. Kay Clay. Sadly, Mrs. Clay passed away on New Year's Eve 2007. She was a true Indianapolis treasure and nationally celebrated artist. She loved to draw and paint and her passion for teaching inspired students from every IPS school where she taught--Attucks, Tech, Manual, Broad Ripple, Northwest, etc. I know that I am not alone in saying that I miss my friend greatly.
