Today:
Came to the States when I was 16, as an exchange student from Kiev, Ukraine. Love Indianapolis. Currently on the marketing team at the Indianapolis Art Center. Adore my two sons, Dmitry & Vladimir and my husband, Nicholas. Nick and I (primarily Nick, i just help out with posters and stuff) promote avant jazz and other creative music--MYTHOPEIC.ORG.
Mythopeic, www.mythopeic.org, is back in business. After taking a bit of a break to have baby Vladimir, we are ready to bring the best avant ...
hey!! cute photo!

...oh and your photo is deceiving.

Awesome!! Welcome to Indy.com!! Not so sure about that pic though dude! :)
ummm...maybe your photo needs to meet this century :)
ok, what do you all have against this picture???!!! don't be haters!
i am hot, ok!!! at least on this picture...
Stop posting and get back to work :-) {ha}
The "Juno" soundtrack is pretty cool! I love the B&S song they use.
162, is that all? Check it out....
Wouldn't you like to know.... :-}
Hello Neighbor.
Glad to hear that, you may also like Mr. Oizo, SebastiAn or Busy P! Enjoy =)
Nice to meet you Anya! My dad's name is Vladimir! lol! What's your favorite sushi place?
Sakura used to be a fave, but I they are soooooo slow and too far from us to drive when there are places we (hubs and I) like closer - Ocean World and Sansui are two we really enjoy.
And yes, I speak Russian, though it is a utilitarian kinda Russian - don't expect me to sound intelligent trying to talk art, politics or religion...just don't have the vocabulary, unfortunately.
I personally know just one other Russian family here - that's it!! Where are the Russian-speakers hiding???
Anya! Hey, sorry it's take me so long to get back to ya. So I hear you've found a restaurant that isn't in our system. That's good news and bad news. I'd like to think we have every restaurant in the city. (There's 1,443 eateries in there now so we gotta be close right?) Anyway, when you find one we don't have let us know and we'll add it. There's a link up in the orange area at the top of the page that says submit event | venue. Hit that and let us know what it is and we'll get it in.
Bad news about the beige though. That's what the reporters get. It's the only way we differentiate the staff from users. Sorry! :(
So, tell me, did you I bore you to sleep this morning?
Anya, Thanks for stopping by my photos/gallery! Someone else on indy.com who does icons is mvanvlymen.
I attended your church a couple of months ago. Mother Katherine had the large mosaic icon that my students made and there was a part of the service where people came up to look at it. I thought the whole thing was very cool, though I have to admit I was way out of my element being a Baptist and all. Just goes to show you , stretching out of ones element can be very good at times.
I see by your photos that you enjoy St. Paddy's Day. In my household, that day is treated like a national holiday. Perhaps I'll see you around town this March 17. I'll be easy to spot... I'll be one of the kilted bagpipers enjoying the day. Stop me and say hello. Of course, we all look alike so I suspect you'll be quite busy if you try.
kind of looks like you have braces on now...
Nice to meet you as well. I'm a big fan of your employer.
Do you do your own silk screening?
I've performed at Connor's Pub many times, but none recently. I performed there when I was in the Gordon Pipers and when I was in the Murat Highlanders. Now I do solo performances on St. Pat's except for the parade. I mostly play at places in or near Greenwood on St. Pat's now.
Thanks for being a fan.
Keep on bringing the creative art and music to Indianapolis! If you have any questions about Indy.com let me know.
