If words can move people, TonyWHOA can incite riots. It's like tossing an M-80 firecracker in a bucket of gasoline. Once he gets going he's hard to stop.
Try to explain who he is and where his raps come from in one word other than WHOA!, it would have to be Bi-polar. A charming young husband and father of 6, that will flip quicker than a bear trap. If this were the Civil Rights era, he would be the guy spraying cops with a water hose, laughing, and then running home to act as if nothing happened.
TonyWHOA is well known for writing tracks that liken Christianity to the Civil Rights Movement. In his newest video, What You Gone Do, he tells a seemingly fictional story of the day Christianity is banned in America. In this story Churches are being shut down, Pastors are arrested, and the President commissioned a new taskforce stronger than the ATF, FBI, CIA, and Homeland Security all together. A new taskforce called the Christian Containment Association or the CCA. "The CCA makes Cointelpro look like Girl Scouts", exclaims Tony.
On the eve of his 5th solo CD entitled, Anti-World Premiere, he has set forth on a journey to change the world's view of Christian Rappers. "We are not Preachers and Deacons that came up with a cool idea to entice kids to come to Jesus. I've been in this game honing my skill for years, a long the way Jesus tapped my shoulder, and I've been rolling with him ever since", says Tony.
Performing at the 2007 Indy 500 Mini Marathon for the 4th year in a row has taught him one thing. TonyWHOA has the talent and the work ethic he needs to succeed in this industry. Along with a new video, new CD, and a connection to a Higher Power he is waking people up. All the people have to do is get up.
