It took a while but I think I've finally decided what I want to be "when I grow up.". Flash backs to my 110 camera with flip flash, taking pictures of well, anything! Today I've a heart for people & a passion to do right by God. My desire is for people to walk away from a photo session & experience a balance not feel like they've just signed their savings away for a picture or two. Photos are just the start as I love getting creative with them. The final product are great pictures at prices I would expect to be charged. woohoo!! It's a win-win.

Photography -- There's something about taking a great picture & showing it to the person it is of. Or often better, to capture the perfect cloudy sky -- there are many of these. Indy & it's surrouding areas hold treasures yet unfound for any artist or photographer. There are so many different eyes that one person may see something that no other sees the same until put into print.

I went to that site you spoke of. No, I had never heard of it before. I will probably go back to it frequently. I saw some info about the contest. I might download all the details later. I'm not sure if I have time at present to pursue the contest, but I appreciate the lead. Actually I didn't coin the term Art Spirit. I first heard/read it from the work of artist Robert Henri. Use it as much as you like... I do!

I hope that your finding out what you want to be when you grow up doesn't aply to all of us ... I personally like the Peter Pan Syndrom =)

Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
