I grew up in the Indianapolis area. I spent most of my life on the Northwest side and spent most of developing years in Pike Township. My family relocated to Greenwood when I was a junior in high school, so I graduated from Whiteland Community High. I hightailed it to the big city after high school, and have been back and forth between Chicago and Indianapolis ever since.

I worked for one miserable year at Wellpoint, until I landed a job in cancer research in Chicago, where I now live. I'm still a frequent visitor to Indy, as most of my family still lives either in Indianapolis or its environs.
