I'm from Indy, moved away for about eight years including college, and I've been back for a couple, which is longer than I expected. I love the downtown area and lived there two years until I recently moved. I like finding new things in my old city, even if it involves some digging. My favorite things are art theatres, museums, good music, and good books. Plus I have stacks and stacks of unread New Yorkers and Believer magazines waiting for me. And even though I live on Mac n Cheese and sandwiches, I'm also a huge fan of ethnic food.

I asked myself "Why don't I attempt to create a dialog with all of the other people who have "art" as one of their tags?" Though not knowing where the move might take me, I felt that the tag alone was reason enough to become a fan of yours. Essex
I love ethnic food too. Do you have any local favorites? Did you know that you can get a great variety of foods from many different countries at the International Festival, which is coming up this weekend (Nov. 16-18) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds?

Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
