Jammy,
"Oh Crumbs!!"
Yes, I took the name from the popular Themes series. It used to air on Channel 23 during 1986. The show was highly watched by myself...not as bad as someone I know who swears by High School Musical, but it was fascinating to watch a show that had references to Barry Manilow and other people and topics. Its funny though, Manilow's Management company is named exactly like a character from the show Danger Mouse. Remember Stilletto?? Maybe thats why there was an episode about Baron Silas Greenbacks wanting to create a Museum of Barry Manilow Record Sleeves??
PENFOLD!! What the hell happened to you man? I hope I didn't sound like an a------ and run you off! Come back bud!
Hey there, Thanks for check out my profile! Since I'm new to Indy, I love any attention I get! :) Your musical tastes remind me of my younger days...when 38 Special and Foreignor were at the top of the charts, and Barry was writing all the commercials...so much for bygone years. At least the music still lives on! Rock on!
Personally, I miss the days where videos actually were bad (especially with bad VJs as well. Who could forget Martha Quinn bad lipsyncing to "Let It Be" during Live Aid). Now, MTV is just nothing more than either reality telly or just fluff.
I hardly listen to new CDs anymores, unless its The Eagle's latest or Celine Dion's or Barry's latest.
Welcome to Indy, Cindy!! I will be sure to check out your profile and believe me...you will get much more attention from me now and in the future ;-). Feel free to write me anytime.
Have a great weekend and take cares!!
Brian
