Today:
Oh gee--I dunno. Music's important to everyone, I won't flatter myself by being the exception. I play guitar in a third-wave ska band called the Naptown Shockers (check our myspace for dates).
My favorite genres (despite hating the idea of so tersely generalizing) are: ska, dub, two-tone, punk, proto-punk, reggae, doo-wop, surf, delta-blues (but I'm not pretentious about it!), and whatever else you can infer from my haircut and the stle of jeans I wear.
Literature: it was strictly Russian for a few months, but essentially I'll read whatever author's quoted in the epigram of the last book I read. Like all young bitchass students, I went through an existential stage but luckily grew outta it. Who knew I'd become a Jane Austen fan? Though I now deplore Beat lit, I admit Burroughs was a great influence on me.
I'm a left-handed triplet. I have a 2005 silver Stella scooter. Post-modernism is lazy and shallow.
Welcome to Indy.com.
I hope no one ever smashes your Billy Bragg records ... especially "Workers Playtime."
3rd wave is better than 4th wave. nobody ever remembers 4th wave
