Bio

Mardelay is a band; 4 musical minds with the shared desire to prove what creativity, emotion, passion and belief can truly accomplish. A collective sharing of life's experiences and desires set to a controlled exploration of all that is catchy, forceful, ambient and beautiful about modern day rock and roll. Driving, guitar-laden hooks, powerful layers of vocal interplay, and haunting bursts of cello and keyboards give the band a firm grasp on the modern, with a strong nod to the past.

Blending the pop sensibilities of bands like The Foo Fighters, U2, and Weezer, and the emotion of bands like Built to Spill, Jimmy Eat World and Pavement, Mardelay are an original band playing original music in a somewhat un-original musical landscape; and winning over the young and important with every note.
