Today:
I'm Lila.
I like roadtrips, rock & roll and red wine. Oh, and my sister Lola: I like her, too.

I just secured my ticket to see Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds in fabulous Bloomington on Sunday. Seems they've decided to drop in to support ...
This is, so far, the best literary news of the year, in my opinion: "Finally, after a few years on the road for others to ...
It's dark. It's cold. And, just when I thought hippie miracles were few, The Spirtles have decided to play another Sunday show. This Sunday. Really. ...
My delightful sister Lola, who lives in Seattle, just e-mailed me to discuss her office's holiday party. Seems her swanky job planning parties and political ...

Well, you got at least one good influence with the Good Doctor Gonzo....
thanks :) nice to meet you!
Nice...not thrilling.......but nice. Oh god..........here we go
I did see the excerpts on HST in Rolling Stone and cannot wait to read the entire book. There is another new book out that has plenty of ephemera from his archives & great photos snapped by him, which is quite a revelation. He was a very good photographer. (My avatar pic results from a Halloween party I went to last week. I don't normally go for the Raoul Duke look). What's your favorite book of his?
I may not reach the UB40-esque style of binge drinking you might pursue. While whiskey is too rough, champagne costs too much and well, vodka puts my mouth in gear. So this little refrain should help me explain that as a matter of fact I like BEER!
I'd have thought that with time thoughts of her would leave my head. I was wrong and I find just one thing makes me forget.
Quite a bit. Get started now.

Red, red wine...
Hey there! 'Favorites and more' you ask? First you have to find the venue or event profile of something that you think is your favorite, say D'Vine, and when you there, click on 'add to favorites' on the upper left. Then it'll show up on your profile. Does that help?
Any excuse for you to be my friend will do. I'm shameless. :) Give me a shout anytime.
Wasn't that song by the Kinks about you, only it was back when you were a man, or something?
Ever been to Gonzo's old hangout, the Woody Creek Tavern? Very cool. Great food and killer drinks.
I need to work on my profile, as I'm lacking any good stuff about me. I saw you are a Catterbox fan! YAY for Chatterbox! I love that joint. Dive-lightfully dumpy.....
Thanks for the comment...Come out to see Wolfy for free at the U. of Indianapolis on Nov. 9th!
MAC has pretty neat red lipstick. I may or may not have lost the glasses. Siiigh. Xo.

Road Trips, Rock n Roll, and Red Wine? Right On!
And, I think I'm becoming one!
Lila, Thanks for making me one of your people. I'm flattered... and puzzled. I don't know of any of our tags being the same so I'm not sure I understand why you chose me. I'm somewhat new... okay VERY new to this format so perhaps I'm missing some protocol. Thank you for tolerating what may appear to be odd ramblings.
Thanks for the Birthday wishes! And thanks for my birthday lunch!! I'll be following that up with some Paella and Sangria tonight at Barcelona! Yummm.
Lila, I can't pass up being a fan of someone who is a fan of art!
Lila: I've got your name for the beat poetry project. I'll be contacting you later (sometime after Jan. 1 with details). Are you interested in reading or just want to listen? Either way is cool.
Thanks for the kudos on the review ... always great to do dinner with you. So, where to next?
Hey Lila, thanks for adding yourself as one of my fans. You seem like a really interesting person.
hey thanxs for the comment on the elvis piece.... interested in buying jw i love ur stuff
Nice gallery. I'm jealous of your visit to the Henry Miller library. I've always wanted to go to Big Sur and look for the Oranges of Hieronymous Bosch.
Nice gallery. I'm jealous of your visit to the Henry Miller library. I've always wanted ...
Looked to me like the proverbial oranges were available on the coast...There must be some around here, too -- perhaps in vinyl.
So... at your request I added to my profile that I'm scared of snow. Wait, I mean DRIVING in snow. Happy?? And you're mentined in there. So now you'll be famous.
I imagine that right now, you're feeling a bit like Alice. Hmm? Tumbling down the rabbit hole?
Yeah, if you wanna see Alice and her friend the Gold Digga, check out my gallery, hehe. See, i AM makinig you an internet celebrity.
So, are you a writer yourself, and if so, what do you write?
There. I've added a snow photo. There may be more to come. Including the Kenny one. hehe. Juuuust kidding. (i've noticed i've had tons of typos in my past comments. oops.)
Get my couch ready! I'm coming over tonight and hiding from the snoooow!!!
Old Oaken Bucket this weekend! Go Hoosiers! The Boilermakers need to go down...
Thanks! I took it in San Francisco. The lady with the gray dreadlocks mesmerized me.
i love you black and white photos
Yell, scream GO HORSE!!!
Another Hunter fan eh? The trunk of the car looked like a mobile police narcotics lab. We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers and also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug-collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
wow did you really have a pic of you blowing bubbles at a spirtles show..groovy,,,, didnt think anyone even knew who the spirtles were.. u must like string cheese, moe and yonder mountain as well.... oh yeah the dead rocks too... youd be a fun gal to talk to and have a drink with...
Oh Lila, are you TRYING to be more popular than me on the "most popular" list? Don't you know how much that hurts my self-esteem? :)
Hey there Lila! Thanks for the good luck wishes with the contest.. which we won thanks to you wonderful people by the way! We're playing at Birdy's this Sunday if you're interested in hearing us! We'd definitely love to meet you! There's more info in our most recent post. :D

We try to do a fun variety.... I think we are going to work on Pardise by the Dashboard Lights soon.... :)
Lisa
what's really funny.. I just read about your sister Lola...
My grandma's name was Lila. She had a sister Lola and a sister Lelah.. and sometimes they called her "Leila"
Lila, Thanks for stopping in to the spankin new profile. Come by for some tunes at www.myspace.com/theherenowmusic and then stop by Locals Only this weekend for a party with The Here Now and friends.
look its the funny baby with the headphones :D Thanks for being a fan...although it is just for my looks -hehe Come see how the fun is in the South side of Indy!! The North side and downtown is'nt the ONLY place to have fun!
Thanks for the compliment regarding my apartment series pair. Perhaps I'll make it a series instead of a pair. Thanks for being so active on the site too! Have a great weekend.
Incredibly cool..cat.
Happy holidays back at you.
You were right... chalk. And it smelled like it should have had alcohol in it, but, alas, it didn't...
I'm up packing, yes, at 1:30 a.m. for my flight tomorrow. I tend to pull all-nighters before big trips... Cus I take frequent breaks to do random things... like send people messages... Ok, that's my cue to sit back down in front of my suitcase.
Have a Merry, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! (I'll be enjoying my summertime X-mas in Peru...)
Thanks for adding me and Happy Holidays to you. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Happy New Year to all of you "art interest" people I'm a fan of. Perhaps our paths will cross at an art event in 2008. Perhaps in '08 there will be a loosely organized gathering of the indy.com arts community at an event or gallery walk. If so, or not, have a good one either way. Cheers!
Thanks for the invite -- I had fun! Up next, Governor Davis. And in the near future... the Toasters. ;-) P.S. I have some cute pics from last night...
why are we whispering?
dude ur screen name is awsome
just curious, how come you have negative karma points? you don't seem like a troublemaker...
How are ya?
