I am a recently divorced female of 52 yrs. young. Was married for 30 yrs. until husband found a young thing.. I was born and raised in Alexandria, La. I enjoy : writing, hiking, camping, fishing, riding on the back of a motorcyle and feeling the breeze on my face. I have 2 daughters' and 7 grandchildren. My quest in life is to find myself, and purpose that God has for me to do. I enjoy talking to people of all walks of life, and culture. I am not perfect, by all means... I am outspoken when it comes down to my beliefs, and what I fight for: Women who are battered, children, too. I am an avid animal activist, and would love to travel. If you have questions? Ask.. that is the only way you will understand anyone, and can do anything.

writing for Children, and Adults with a christian based theme. Also, hiking, anything outdoors, jewelry making (trying this is new), antique hunting, bargain buying, and try to help other's who are in need. Plays with all my grandchildren! Loves animals, and wish I had a puppy right now.

Interests:

Concerts, movies, dancing, theater, bird watching, going out, going to French Lick, (since I have not been there.), Hiking as a group, publish my book, T.V. buff, Colts Fan, finding bargains on just about anything, wants to go to a Mystery Cafe, having fun.

OK Your profile really spoke to me.

We're in kind of the same place in life. Trying to figure out what God has for us, why we're here and all that. Believe it or not, that quest has led to our walking away from a stable and secure career job to use our entire God-given, homeschooled family talents to build a Cajun restaurant from the ground up! Our own gig, no franchise, no boss. This way we can use it for ministry and outreach. Sounds like you need a place for ministry and outreach. Maybe you should drop by and say hello?
