Today:
I grew up in a little suburb on the edge of Melbourne, Australia, with three brothers, playing Aussie rules football (which is NOT soccer, nor rugby, nor any variation thereof). I studied psychology before working in a law office, an insurance cubicle and in PR at my alma mater. I met my wife when she was studying abroad, and moved to the US in 2003, to her hometown: Glens Falls, NY. After four years as a features writer there, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida, for a year, and have recently relocated to Indy. I like gourmet French fries and quality Bourbon (though not at the same time), and love the visual arts, and film.

Welcome to Indianapolis, Indy.com, Indy star.. it's all about the Indy's right now for you, eh? We're happy to have you here Konrad!
Hey Konrad, meant to send you a note earlier but better late than never and it's the thought that counts and all that jazz. Glad you're hear. It was good sitting in that meeting hearing your fresh ideas. I look forward to working with ya!
Welcome to Indianapolis, I've always wanted to visit Australia.
My usual welcome is: I asked myself "Why don't I attempt to create a dialog with all of the other people who have "art" (or in your case "art openings") as one of their tags?" Though not knowing where the move might take me, I felt that the tag alone was reason enough to become a fan of yours.
Hi Kon Happy Australia day for the 26th and congrats on your new job....we're expecting lots of arts stories from you and hopefully some with a downunder slant.
You are an Arts and Entertainment writer. I am an artist. So hello.
I also (unfortunately) enjoy spending above my means. I'm entirely too good at it.
Sure, you can include me! My name's Maggie and I no longer work for PF Changs.
I'll gladly take those Radiohead tickets off your hands ...
Face value?
Hi Konrad! Good to meet you and the spouse the other night at the Rathskeller! Hope to see you again soon. Cheers!
