However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts. God will see that you do want society.

Thanks for your comments on your post concerning contemporary art. I consider myself a member of the arts community, yet I know exactly what you mean about the thumbed-nose-ing of many in the arts community. It really is too bad that that occurs in a community (I feel) that should be leading the way in tolerance, education and acceptance.
I like your style, Dude.

Sorry I was did mean to bait anyone into feeling sorry for me. I just happened to have a BAD week at work this week and wanted to VENT about it. This doesn't happen EVERY week. Venting is how I deal with this stupid work stuff, that and medication. - clearly this is NOT the place for venting or blogging. Oh well back to MYSPACE then.
Thank for clearing that up for me. I was just so angry in general last week. I mean do the pros out way the cons of this job? I love traveling which I do a lot with my job, the good new is that this one person that seems to be the biggest issue for me had finally gotten them self noticed by people higher up in the chain so I am kind of waiting to see what happens there. They may tell them to handle themselves better or take a hike. So I might wait just a little longer but I am looking at other options as well, creative types should never settle on one place. It's too cut throat of a work environment - you could get canned or replaced at any moment.
