Founded in 1969, the mission of the Fine Arts Society is "to provide opportunities for the enjoyment of classical music in central Indiana through broadcast programming and to encourage the understanding and appreciation of this art form through education".

Broadcasting classical music 24/7 simultaneously on WICR 88.7 FM, 88.7 HD-1 & online - www.fasindy.org . Also on WICR 88.7 HD-2 the hours not on the 3 other outlets. Our separate Music Academy teaches classical music to Indianapolis youth, the majority of them economically disadvantaged.
