FerchArthur: I read your review of Claddagh. So how were the "chips" in the fish and chips? If they were french fries, I'll pass. But if they were really chips, I'll try it.

I'm afraid we shall need to agree to disagree on this! I tend to prefer the "chips" in the UK style--that which we indeed call french fries as opposed to American chips which are called "crisps" in the UK. For a good plate of chips in the style you prefer, I suggest Fion McCool's (Not sure I have that spelling correct) in Fishers on 116th Street. Having never been there before I ordered them expecting the other style, so they had a strike against them at first. But they were quite tasty, fresh, warm, crispy.
