Fans and friends

Fans and friends lets you keep track of what other members of Indy.com are doing.

Friends: Friends are people you are following.

Fans: Fans are people who are following you.

Once you are friends with someone, you can view their recent activity, posts, comments and more by clicking on the "Live" button in the Wunderbar the bottom of the screen. You can also check if they're online by clicking the "Friends online" button in the Wunderbar.

To add a friend, search for their user name on the Fans & Friends page. Then click on the results to visit their user profile and click the "Follow" icon. If you already know their user name, you can visit their profile page directly by following this URL format (http://www.indy.com/people/username).

To delete a friend, go to the Fans & Friends page, click the "My fans & friends" tab and click the "Stop following" icon under their name. You can also go to their user profile (http://www.indy.com/people/username) and click the "Stop following" icon.

If your friends aren't already on Indy.com, invite them to join! Click on the "Invite people" link on the Fans & Friends page. You can find new friends by exploring the "New user", "Online users", "Recently active users", and "Users you may know" tabs.
