On Tuesday, May 12, 2009 Amanda L.‘s video, Family Man was announced as a finalist in the national scholarship competition being run by Upromise called Tuition Tales. The video is 1 of 4 finalists in their category, “Paying It Back”. Amanda L. made the video in hopes of winning the $10,000.00 scholarship to help pay back her husband Brian’s loan. At the age of 30, married and father of 2, Brian made the courageous choice to return to school. In April, 2009 Brian completed his schooling and received a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. As many of you know, with this education comes loans and this family certainly has some debts to repay.

What they need now is your help in the form of votes. The Family Man is up against a Singer from Massachusetts, an Artist from Ohio and a Teacher from Kentucky. The competition is fierce. The video with the most votes wins so they need all the votes they can get from YOU! You can vote every 24 hours through May 20th at Noon EST. Voting takes less than a minute. Just go to www.tuition-tales.com, look for Family Man under the Paying It Back category and vote. You will have to enter your email address but if you don’t want to receive emails from them just un-check the box. You DO NOT have to enter your phone number.
