My student group at Kelley School of Business Indianapolis is exploring the idea of opening a music rehearsal space in downtown Indianapolis. We need feedback from actual musicians to figure out the probability of the success of this idea. It would be different from other rehearsal spaces in Indianapolis, because it would be rented out monthly; most are hourly. Hillcrest Sound is a live sound contracting company that specializes in regional rock acts. We have many years of experience in music business and understand the varying needs of different musicians. We are looking forward to adding a valuable piece to the Indianapolis music scene. We are exploring the option of creating a rehearsal space that is leased monthly. Our facility is located at Washington Street and State Street in downtown Indianapolis. Our facility would offer 24/7 rehearsal availability , month-to-month rent, soundproof and acoustically-treated rooms, room sizes from 100 sq feet to 400 sq feet, and on-site technicians. There will also be a security system that includes amenities of internet streaming cameras, deadbolts on doors, and individual access codes.
