Experience Day of the Dead with John Parra
The Indianapolis Art Center will be host to nationally known and award winning illustrator and designer, John Parra in honor of its Day of the Dead celebration on Nov. 1. John Parra’s creativity is a reflection of his passions. “I like to draw inspiration from the diverse cultural images in our lives and our assimilation of these images into our own oneness. The connection between art and ideas is a powerful thing. It engages and opens the mind to the world.” Parra will be discussing his artwork and life as an artist. Each session will be comprised of a 45 minute discussion/presentation and a 45 minute activity. Cost to be determined.
