Carmel, IN – The Second Story Playhouse Players return for their second year with FringeNext presenting “The Secret Life of Girls” during the
Fifth Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival on August 23rd at 6pm, August 28th at 7:30pm, and August 29th at 1:30pm at the IndyFringe Building, 719 East St. Clair Street.

DESCRIPTION:
The play is an unflinching dramatization of teen-girl angst, and the tumultuous and destructive world of girls’ bullying. Based on interviews with girls on the giving and receiving end of bullying, the play highlights the impact of “cyberbullying” and mean-spirited behaviors through the use of cell phones, text and instant messaging, e-mail and chat rooms.
Bernie Szuhaj, Co-Owner of the Simply Sweet Shoppe and Second Story Playhouse, who is also directing the show added, “We’re very excited to be invited back as participants in FringeNext bringing another show with a thought provoking message as part of our ‘Fringiness.’”
