Please join us on Friday, August 7th from 5-9 p.m. for the opening of “Disintegration” at ARTBOX Gallery.

“Disintegration” will feature new paintings by Jason Myers and sculpture by Jean-Jacques Porret.

Jason Myers recent figurative paintings explore the construction and disintegration process of the human form in a space void of physical tangibility. The paintings often include text and dialogue from the encapsulating memory.

Jean-Jacques Porret recent investigations of the figure in granite and bronze. Working within the boundaries of his imagination he blends the familiar with the unknown. Each contour leading to the next, creating
a “rhythm in space.”

ARTBOX Gallery is located downtown in the Stutz II building, with entrance and parking on Senate Avenue between 9th & 10th streets.
