You just got beat by a girl.

You’ve seen her at the track. You’ve seen her at the bar. You can’t miss her. If you’ve been following the Indianapolis 500 activities at all this month, you know her. Her is everywhere.
No, that’s not poor English, I mean HER, the new energy drink sponsoring the number 99 car that will be driven by Alex Lloyd in this weekend’s Indy 500. The Hollywood, California based company has made a big hot pink stink in Indy. The neon pink shirts have been swarming the city both on and off the track.
HER stands for Health, Energy, Revitalizer and is an energy drink geared towards women, although I promise you real men drink it too. Personally, I enjoy mine both with and without vodka. Side note: the HER website even features drink recipes (they must have been reading my mind), check them out at http://herenergy.com/recipes/.
>Tomorrow night, Friday, May 22, 2009, HER, along with BMG Events, is throwing a HER house party. This invitation only pink carpet event will appropriately benefit the Indianapolis affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the cure of breast cancer. Driver Alex Llyod among other special guests, rumored to becoming in from LA LA land, and of course yours truly will be in attendance. This is surely not a party to be missed. Each room of the HER house will be themed with different brands and liquor sponsors. To clarify, the house will be inside an event location, not a real house.
I don’t know if the number 99 car will win the race but either way I can tell you HER has a message for all the other energy drinks out there – you just got beat by a girl.

that’s just weird. i thought all energy drinks were straight up caffeine. is this one infused with calcium or something? what makes it special for women besides the marketing?
