Poetry Reading

The city’s best spokenword artists will combine forces of Valentine’s Day for a special reading riffing on the ups and downs of this thing called love.

T.J. Reynolds, Tasha Jones, aLLEN iMAGERY, Jason Ammerman, Kahlil Jahiz, nSAYchable, Ike Boyd, and Tatjana Rebelle will perform “in the round,” with each poet reading one piece at a time and passing around the mic, all while accompanied by excellent jazz improvizationalists.

Come to Earth House Coffee & Tea, Indy’s only all organic coffeehouse on Sat., Feb. 14 from 8 to 11 p.m. Earth House is a smoke-free, venue for all ages, located at 237 N. East Street downtown (the corner of East and New York Streets). Cover is $5.

Shake ya groove thang! Salsa style!

Mark your calendar! IntoSalsa presents the most romantic party of the year – Valentine’s Day Bachata Concert with Indy’s only Kapitulo 1 live at El Meson on Sat., Feb. 14.

Kapitulo 1 made its debut at El Meson in January with rave reviews. They’ll play classic bachata songs for all the bachata lovers. Special dance performance by Las Chicas El Meson.
