My BFF loves Yats.

After spending our Sunday afternoon out shopping, we decided that a chili-cheese ettoufee was the perfect meal to end the day.

You probably love Yats, too, so you could imagine how hurt I was after I ordered, offered my debit card to pay and was told they don’t take plastic. “Cash, check or I.O.U., only,” said the happy dude behind the counter.

I.O.U.?!?! Huh? I just knew he was joking… until he physically wrote me an I.O.U., handed me my food and sent me on my way.

I coulda cried. Who woulda known that sorta “Mayberry” kindness of yesterday still existed in 2009?

Truth be told, Yats just won themselves a customer for life. It’s that kinda over-the-top, knock-their-socks-off customer service that keeps good businesses in business.

Kudos to a business that gets it, AND has great food! =)
