The things you don't see everyday

Am I the only person who notices the things that one typically doesn’t see everyday? Saturday, my son and I were driving out to Avon and this “thing” ran out into the middle of the street, it was kind of a reddish color and I thought “Wow, it’s a fox!” but the way it ran, it also reminded me of a cat, so I wasn’t sure…As the thing made its way across Rockville Rd., I got a good look at it and sure enough, it was a fox. I mean, you don’t see a fox everyday, so that was kind of cool.

I have also seen bald eagles in places where you would not ordinarily expect to find them and crazy stuff is just everywhere isn’t it? What have you seen that isn’t typical for the area?

Living downtown, I mostly just see squirrels and rats. At the apartment building I live in, occasionally I’ll see bats flying through an opening in the roof. They fly in pretty large packs and will start swirling around, flying in circles. It’s pretty awesome looking.
