Can I just say I am super excited about Charlie Brown and Rudolph tonight? My sons and I commented the other day (while watching Rudolph’s Shiny New Year on Family Channel) that it was too bad that they were showing it before Christmas. One of the cool things about the season is all of the holiday specials that are on, but after Christmas, it all peters out. I remember being a kid and at least knowing that I would see Rudolph after Christmas was a huge consolation for the lack of Christmas specials on. Of course the addition of Charlie Brown is a treat as well. I love Peanuts! While the new cartoons have nothing on some of the older ones…“I want a dog for Christmas Charlie Brown” is pretty darned funny. I hope tonight’s special is good. I wasn’t too happy with them when they remade the Valentine’s Day cartoon…oh well, maybe something happened to the original. Anyone have a favorite Peanuts cartoon?
