1 Dahntay Jones

6-6 Guard/forward 5.4 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.6 spg

A major offseason acquisition because of his perimeter defensive ability, Jones started for Western Conference finalist Denver and could do so for the Pacers.

2 Earl Watson

6-1 Point guard 6.6 ppg, 5.8 apg

Signed in the offseason from Oklahoma City to back up Ford and bring a defensive attitude.

3 Troy Murphy

6-11 Forward 14.3 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 45.0% 3FG

The only player in NBA history to be among the top five in rebounding and 3-point shooting in a season, Murphy will be the starting power forward.

5 T.J. Ford

6-0 Point guard 14.9 ppg, 5.3 apg

In his second year with the Pacers, Ford begins the season as the starting point guard, a role he shared with Jarrett Jack a year ago.

10 Jeff Foster

6-11 Center 6.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 50% FG

The longest tenured Pacer in his 11th year, Foster will be a backup and a mentor to the younger post players.

12 Travis Diener

6-1 Point guard 3.7 ppg, 2.2 apg, 39% 3FG

Entering his fifth year in the league, he’ll be the third point guard when healthy.

13 Luther Head

6-3 Point guard 4.7 ppg, 1.8 apg, 1.6 rpg

He was a double-figure scorer three years ago for Houston and will be the fourth wing in the rotation, at least until Mike Dunleavy returns.

17 Mike Dunleavy

6-9 Guard/forward 15.1 ppg, 3.8 rpg

Limited to 18 games last season, the capable shooter is recovering from major knee surgery in March and likely will come off the bench when healthy.

22 A.J. Price

6-2 Point guard

The rookie from Connecticut’s Final Four team adds depth at point guard.

25 Brandon Rush

6-6 Shooting guard 8.1 ppg, 3.1 rpg

Rush came on strong at the end of his rookie season and begins the year as the starting shooting guard with expectations he’ll be the No. 2 perimeter threat.

32 Josh McRoberts

6-10 Power forward 2.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg

The former Carmel High School star brings energy and athleticism off the bench and became an improved shooter during the offseason.

33 Danny Granger

6-9 Small forward 25.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 40% 3FG

An All-Star and the NBA’s Most Improved Player last year, Granger is only the third player in franchise history to average more than 25 points, joining 1970s stars George McGinnis and Billy Knight.

44 Solomon Jones

6-10 Forward/center 3 ppg, 2.3 rpg

Jones was acquired after three years with Atlanta to add athleticism and defense in the paint.

50 Tyler Hansbrough

6-9 Power forward

A consensus three-time first-team All-American, the former North Carolina star will be part of the frontcourt rotation when healthy.

55 Roy Hibbert

7-2 Center 7.1 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.1 bpg

The Pacers’ center of the future opens the year as the starter in the middle after learning the pro game on the fly as a rookie.
