I work two jobs and attend Manchester College as a full-time student. I work very hard for the money I earn and I am responsible with my earnings. I deserve to receive the benefits that I am being promised from my tax dollars.

If reform of the Social Security system is not implemented, I could soon pay many times more in Social Security taxes than I will receive in benefits when I retire. I am not happy with this and you should not be either.

I propose a system of protected personal accounts for individuals along with limited government spending. The employee would be able to access that account only under the same terms in which the government protects the current form of Social Security.
