A group of Center Grove High School students will be collecting canned goods and nonperishable food items instead of treats this Halloween.

The students will be going door to door asking for donations to help stock the Center Grove Alternative Academy’s food pantry in the old Maple Grove building just south of the high school.

Students are planning to visit the following neighborhoods: Auburn Trace, Barrington West, Brentridge, Brentwood, Carefree South, Eagle Trace, Fair Oaks, Forest Hills, Kensington, Wakefield, Willow Lakes East and Windsong.

This is the second year for the group has collected food items on Halloween.
