NOBLESVILLE — An Indianapolis woman remained in critical condition today after a Tuesday crash that closed Ind. 37 for about an hour.

About 11 a.m. Tuesday, Megan Rosenbaum, 26, Indianapolis, hit the back of a semi on southbound Ind. 37 just north of the Pleasant Street intersection. Police believe the semi was stopped at the traffic light but aren’t sure why the 1991 Buick hit the truck, according to a press release issued today.

Rosenbaum was in critical condition at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to the release.

Robby Russell, 23, Sapulpa, Okla., drove the truck. He was treated at the crash site for minor injuries.

Police continued today to investigate the crash and asked witnesses to call them at (317) 776-6340.
