Colts' cornerback Marlin Jackson confirms season-ending knee injury
For the second time in 12 months, Indianapolis Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson has suffered a season-ending knee injury during practice.
Jackson confirmed he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday afternoon’s practice.
Jackson, a 2005 first-round draft pick, tore two ligaments in his right knee during an October practice last season. He returned to the playing field for this season’s opener and played extensively in the nickel package in the first four games.
However, Jackson has missed the past three games after injuring his left knee against Seattle on Oct. 4.
